I have stayed at Winsbere on three occasions now (June 2011, December 2010, June 2010) when visiting family. Each stay has been of such a high standard. Margaret cannot do enough for you and her knowledge of the area and things to do/visit is great. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and the breakfast are very yummy. I... More

I cannot praise highly enough Margaret and Richard. I could only stay the one night, but I wish it could have been many more. I have used many B&B's over the years and I can honestly say this was one of the best I have stayed in. Everything seemed perfect, from the initial welcome from Margaret, through the spotless and peaceful... More

We arrived in rain after flying from Manchester to Exeter and had a lovely welcome from Margaret with tea and home made cake. Our bedrooom was the large double with a dual aspect - spotless and very tastefully furnished. Stayed 2 nights and can recommend the breakfasts - orders for which are taken the night before. Would not hesitate to... More

Spent 3 nights in this comfy, peaceful home.A very warm welcome from Margaret and Richard. We stayed in bedroom 3 which is slightly smaller than the other rooms but as we wanted the twin beds this was not a problem. The room was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and shower room fitted to a high standard. Breakfast was perfectly cooked ,... More

We received a warm welcome on arrival, and given some very good advice on were to eat in Dulverton. The room (twin) was very pleasant and spotlessly clean, with some fun embroideries on the walls. There was a small ( but not cramped) en-suite with a shower. The Breakfast was first class, individually cooked (ordered the night before from a... More

Winsbere house is on the outskirts of Dulverton with lovely views over the Barle valley very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Fanatastic base for visiting Exmoor and if you do stay go to the exmoor pony centre just up the road and see the good work they are doing.

My daughter and I had a two night break staying at Winsbere House. We had gone to visit the Exmoor Pony Centre in Dulverton and wanted somewhere local to stay. We were greeted on arrival and shown to our twin ensuite room, which was very pretty and immaculately clean. Breakfast on both days was fab - plenty to eat and... More

Lovely views from our room onto fields with sheep and ponies. Good nights sleep. Off road parking. We stayed in 2 other higher rated b&b's in the area the same week but we had the tastiest breakfast here. An easy ten minute walk into Dulverton and the pubs and eateries.

Dulverton was the perfect place for a break in February, quiet, little traffic, great walks, peaceful, coupled with the great accomodation at Winsbere House, coveniently situated, a short walk from the town. The room was very comfortable which was very welcome after a day in the great outdoors.
