We recently stayed at Gurney Manor and there was nothing we could fault about the place. Our room was lovely - small but perfectly formed with a 4 poster bed and lovely bathroom. The breakfast was lovely, and served in an amazing room. The grounds were beautiful, and the owners were very pleasant - would highly recommend.

We stayed 2 nights for a wedding in the area. Everything was perfect (including the weather!). A beautifully and caringly restored 16th C. granary, now an impressively furnished breakfast room. we stayed in August this year, come to somerset celebrate my birthday. The B & B very different than another and we paid reasonal price in summer period. Room is romantic set up with four poster bed. Just reasonable size. The whole house very special especially the breakfast room. Breakfast average and Pauline very friendly too.

We recognised the place that other reviews have written about and cannot recommend it too highly. It was also absolutely fascinating to hear the story of this labour of love which has taken 18 years and still going.
