We stayed here last year and it was just a joy and a pleasure. The couple who run it are so friendly and welcoming, bending over backwards to accommodate guests. We had the family room which was huge, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Breakfast was delicious with sausage and bacon... More

Impossible to fault this lovely B&B. We had the twin room for one night when visiting our daughter in Bridgwater. Vey friendly reception, our room was spotless, tastefully decorated and a very large shower in the lovely en-suite. As we were the only guests on the Friday (3rd May) we in effect had a private lounge. We returned with our... More

Me and my partner stayed for 1 night, it was perfect! Lovely house, planning on booking it again in a few weeks! Room was perfect as well, very comfy bed. En-suite was a great size. Breakfast was delicious and couldn't of offered more. Owners are very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. Looking forward to staying again soon!

We loved everything about this guesthouse. The rooms are cosy and nicely decorated, lovely comfortable bed, big bathroom with an excellent shower and a nice common sitting room (stocked with tea and cake). The location is beautiful with green fields around of which there are views from the room. The area is quiet but it’s a short walk to the... More

Again we visited the West Country in October, once more stayed at the Sandford House. My previous review does not do this place justice, even my cousin over from Holland was very impressed during their 2 day stay. We had a different room this time, on the ground floor and was equal to everything else, spotless. Breakfast again was a... More

Stayed here as a friend was getting married locally. Room was clean and the bed comfy but above all it was so quiet. Tea and coffee in the room, and also if you wanted a drink there was a guest lounge where there was an honesty box. We slept so well we were actually too late for b/fast but the... More

Stayed here as an overnight stop on the way from Penzance to London. We had the 'family room'. Very spacious room with a nice brass bed, sofa, tv etc and spotlessly clean. We arrived about 5:00 pm, and were offered tea, coffee and cake. We were then given a very thorough run through of doors, locks, keys etc, and then... More

Fabulous! Nothing at all to fault this place. Very welcoming with a pot of tea and home baked carrot cake in the guests lounge which is stocked with books, travel guides, DVDs, games, an honesty bar and even a sewing kit! Room was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with tasteful quality furniture and great attention to detail - even... More

The accommodation, welcome, service and food were all of the highest level but most of all we both felt at home... which is not always the case with so many B&Bs. Sandford B&B certainly is ‘quality’ and is one of the best that we have stayed in. We hope to stay again!
