This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The owners go out of their way to make you feel special. Our room had a terrific view and the conservatory dining room has a real wow factor. Breakfast was great in terms of choice, quality and presentation. Well worth a visit for a short break and it would be a... More

Visited Old Vicarage with two other couples on two night leisure break. They provided us with an excellent suite with lovely lounge overlooking cows, goats and pheasants! The rooms were well equipped with touches like fresh milk for tea/coffee.. The breakfasts were excellent in the Orangery dining room - plenty of choice. Dinner was high quality cooking. It would have... More

Booked a room in this hotel as we were at an event near by. Room we stayed in was in coach house and we could hear everything going on in room above - including nighttime bathroom breaks! Also when we arrived after a long trip we wanted to get a sandwich as a late lunch but we were told that... More

We stayed at this hotel as our friends had the wedding reception here. So on that note, if you are staying at this hotel, you might want to check if they have a Wedding booking - and if they do - try to avoid the Beckbury Bed Room as it will be above the dance floor. The hotel is located... More

A beautiful location, right in the countryside. Lovely pub nearby, lots of nice walking spots. The bedroom and staff service was not what it should be, not worth the money. Although breakfast was superb.

A lovely Country House Hotel with outstanding cuisine. The only complaint was the size and comfort of the bed. We had a large deluxe double room with it's own garden overlooking the village church and open countryside. The bed however was a very small uncomfortable double.there was ample room for a kingsize and hence the "poor" rating for comfort.

Having read other reviews, before buying a 'deal' for a 2 night stay I was uncertain quite what to expect. The reviews are accurate and fair, this is a lovely building, with some quality furnishings, and with a little attention could be a great hotel, but the cleaning and hospitality leaves a bit to be desired, empty tissue boxes, someone... Sunday lunch here was the first visit for several months to one of our favourite restaurants. The food didn't didn't disappoint; the chef here is still at the top of his (her?) game. Beautifully moist, tender lamb, succulent beef, great starters and puds. The arrival of a pre-dessert was perhaps a step too far: like the pre-starter it was full... More

Thank you for taking the time to make your comments. I will make sure we focus more on our service standards. We have a new team in position and many of them have had no experience in working in a restaurant. It just takes a little time for them to learn the many aspects of restaurant service and to become... More

I booked this as it was close to the Cosford RAF Museum and i must pat myself on the back for the selection! We had the leighton suite, which is more like a suite you see in the movies or a one bedroom flat minus the kitchen as it had a totally separate lounge. The rooms were huge; the owners... More
