Lisa was a perfect host, we got a tea when we sing in, she even drove us to next pub in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms are cozy and quite!!, The place is on a short drive to Blenheim palace and Oxford. We had a great time!

Gorselands Hall, set in peaceful grounds, offers a warm and friendly welcome (children included). The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Wifi is available, as are suggestions for evening meals at local pubs. James Smith is a furniture restorer and there are examples of his craft throughout the house, and Lisa, his wife, is a goldsmith,... More

I stay at Gorseland Hall regularly while I'm working away from home. James, Lisa & Julie do a great job at making their guests feel welcome and at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and they cook up a top notch English breakfast - couldn't ask for more!

We visited friends in Oxfordshire this week and chanced upon Gorselands Hall. What a find! Warmly welcomed by James and Lisa and given a drink whilst we registered. Our first floor room was number 6, described as a standard en-suite room. Well-equipped and comfortable, spotlessly clean, this had views out over the Autumnal garden. We sleep with a duvet at... We spent a week at Gorselands Hall in October. We used the lovely B & B while day-tripping through the Cotswolds. New owners Lisa and James were gracious and delightful--paying attention to every detail. We found Gorselands Hall on the internet and upon arrival were pleasantly surprised by its beauty and pastoral setting. It is conveniently located near Oxford, Blenheim... More

Thoroughly enjoyable stay with a delightful family. Everything that one would expect from 4*accommodation? Pets in one designated room only. Book in advance if you wish to take a pet. Easy access to Oxford.

We stayed here during October half term with our two teenage children. We were looking for accomodation ideally placed for the Cotswolds, Oxford & Bicester Shopping Village ( for the teenagers!!) and this is perfectly placed. The local towns of Witney & Woodstock are also only a few minutes drive away. The owners are new to B&B but you would... More

We needed a place to stay for just one night and did not expect to find anything special.Gorselands Hall was convenient and our stay was perfect. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the hosts welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was great. We shall return as often as possible.

The house was lovely and it was in a really peaceful setting. Unfortunately we only stayed overnight and had to leave really early the next day, but we were given a continental breakfast which was nice, before we left at 8am. One thing that let it down was the fact that we could hear a bit of noise from the... More
