We booked this travelodge for its closeness to Oxford. It was easy to find, free parking on hand, which is always a bonus! The Reception staff were very helpful, friendly and polite, and are to commended. Room was large, spacious and clean. Clean towels, plenty of storage space, although we only needed the room one night. The Travelodge was quiet... More

Basic but clean and very convenient for Oxford and Bicester. Good value for money but the bed was a nightmare. We both felt every spring and hardly slept a wink. We've stayed in Travelodges before but this bed really was the worst. Perhaps the answer is to bring a thick sleeping bag and sleep in that on top of the... More

We stayed at this Travelodge as an overnight stop. It was only £20 and was just what was needed. We arrived as a family late about 10pm and there was a receptionist available to tell us how to get free parking etc. The room was Travelodge basic and clean. We had a good sleep and enjoyed a good discounted breakfast... More

We had one night in this Travelodge after a visit to Oxford. The hotel is located in a service area and was better than we had expected. After a short wait at recxeption we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who efficiently checked us in and directed us to our room. You need to register your car on... More

OK, it's a Travelodge... It's cheap and, for the price, it's ok. The room, bed and bathroom were all fine. Clean and functional, with no frills, as you'd expect. I pre-booked a day's WiFi for 10 GBP. Travelodge didn't include the access code in their booking confirnation email and the instructions supplied in the room didn't work. So I had... More

Having stayed here many times we have never had a bad room. This time we had a room much nearer to the reception than on previous trips, and it appeared to have been recently re-decorated. We had a flat panel TV, which was excellent, a very clean bathroom with no mould, and newly fitted taps/shower unit. The furniture is of... More

I stayed at this travelodge for a course in Oxford. Turned out to be a very good choice. Standard travelodge rooms, clean, quiet (no motorway noise) and functional. Paid only £19 for the room. Pear tree park and ride for Oxford is just off A34 and is one junction away on M40, 11 miles from the travelodge and 15 minutes... More

We stopped to break up a long journey and had two rooms - both were absolutely fine - typical Travelodge style but clean and not too worn. The staff were friendly and the situation is ideal if you choose it knowing where it is. Bicester is 10min drive away and that's a really nice town with a great kids park... More

I would only recommend staying here if your in dire need of a bed. Upon walking to my room there was vomit stains on the carpet, flickering lights and a bleak dire under current of depression. I will never stay in a travel lodge again. I recommend anyone to do there home work before traveling so they do not end... More
