The booking, and arrangements for staying here were excellent. They replied to all requests/ emails immediately which was very helpful. We were a large group renting a number of the properties. I personally stayed in the"Nest" which had a lovely view and a nice living space. Some of the other rentals were a little cramped. The cooking facitilies were great,... More

We stayed in the Stables cottage in November last year for a few nights. The living area and kitchen were great, the beds let the cottage down, they were very uncomfortable and in desperate need of a new mattress, also a double bed would have been nicer rather than a twin. I was kept awake at night by a buzzing... More

We stayed in The Stables self catering cottage and won't be returning. The location is lovely and the staff friendly but the cottage was seriously tatty. The bathrooms were in need of complete updating and the mattresses on the beds were ancient. The doors and furniture were tired and tatty. At this price I have stayed in much much nicer... More

Kingfisher Barn is a business with staff, as opposed to a family-run B&B. Everything was provided to a good standard but it lacked a little bit in character. Breakfast is brought to your room as there is no communal eating area; this may suit some people but it can feel a bit lonely, especially if you are there as part... More

I found this accommodation through Booking.com and I have to say what a pleasant surprise, its in a beautiful & quiet location. I am currently staying in a very nice B&B room, which is clean, comfortable with breakfast being delivered to my room, what a nice treat. I need to stay for business regularly over the next few weeks and... More

Wish i'd had a camera... to show some real photo's of this place ! No wonder they only feature shots of the lovely gardens and patio's !This is not one for the album. We needed a stop over for 1 night only on a long journey... thankfully ! 1night was enough. Looks like a lovely location, and we only had... More

we booked 2 rooms to attend a wedding in Abingdon and weren't disappointed. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathroom was large and clean and the twin beds were comfy. It did take a little while to sort out which of the 3 wi-fi codes worked, but once we did it worked fine. The breakfast had to be ordered... More

To describe Kingfisher Barn as four star accommodation is a travesty. The room was supposed to be a double, but it was tiny, as was the bed. The heating didn’t work and the walls were wafer thin so you could hear what was going on next door. The air vent in the bathroom sounded like a jet plane and stayed... More
