We stayed in The Stables self catering cottage and won't be returning. The location is lovely and the staff friendly but the cottage was seriously tatty. we stayed for a weekend in one of the large lodges, it was spacious and clean, we were able to have a BBQ in the garden area, staff even helped with taxi's for our group to get to Oxford for a night out

Staff were polite and helpful, rooms nice and nice to have breakfast delivered to my room in the morning
