I've stayed at a number of Travelodges for my business trips over the years, and I can highly rate the Newark Hotel. The Staff were always helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. I would question the last review regarding the smug Manager - I have spoken with the Manager a number of times, and always found him polite... more

The hotel is hid somewhere behind a garage and a Little Chef restaurant - if you are not a Travelodge fans you will have problem locating it. I arrived late in the evening and the night staffs are extremely polite and helpful. However the lady manager who came in next morning was just terrible - unhelpful and unfriendly, she shouldn't... more
