We rang Horncliffe B&B on the off-chance as we had been staying nearby and wanted an overnight in Seahouses before going home. Kirsty could not have been more accommodating. When we got there we were given a better room than we had booked because another couple had cancelled. We got excellent advice on places to visit. The room was lovely... More

We used this B&B when we rode the Coast and Castles ride at the end of Sept (2011). As we were transfering our luggage by taxi they agreed to take this in for us which was a worry at the time. Our bikes were stored for us. The room and bathroom were excellent with a large bath, very welcome after... More

We were there one night. It was really lovely. Cheapest, biggest and cleanest B&B on our trip. Thank you Kirsty for the nice stay and thank you very much for sending me back my travel adapter! See you, Nils & Stephanie More

Kirsty is such a very nice person which reflects in the Horncliffe. The whole atmosphere makes you feel welcoming and homely. The breakfast is to die for my scrambled egg and salmon was beautiful. You dont just get the option of full english there is plenty to choose from, for everybody. Thank you Kirsty for a great weekend and for... More

Probably one of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. Inexpensive,, immaculately clean and the breakfasts superb. I was given a comprehensive choice for breakfast, not just the full 'English'. Kirsty and her husband, Matthew were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would recommend a stay at Horncliffe, you couldn't do better. More

Horncliffe Guest house was lovely - my friend and I were doing a long distance cycle ride from Newcastle to Edinburgh and had had a long long day on our bikes - Kirsty was so welcoming and encouraging - had given us a room with a bath so we could have a soak to sooth our muscles and the breakfast... My husband and I discovered Horncliffe Guest House by chance - and we are so glad that we did! Ideally situated for the attractions of the village and surrounding area, we were immediately made to feel so welcome by the owner, Kirsty Stephenson. It was like a home from home. Because we didn't know the area too well, she went... More
