Hi,

stayed at the High Keenley Fell Farm near Allendale just recently. Booking via the website was easy with a quick response time. The directions given by the owner were excellent. The B&B is situated on top of a hill in the beautiful North Pennines. There are 3 very tastefully refurbished bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Within 8 minutes (by car) you can be in Allendale where there are a few really nice pubs (with log fires!) and within 20 minutes you can reach Hadrians Wall.
The owner is very friendly and can't do enough for you. The cooked breakfast is lovely and there is plenty of other food too! At £60 for a double room, this is a great place and I would highly recommend it to anybody who wants to get away from it all but still be close enoough to "civilisation". Dinners and packed lunches are available on request also. more
