We stayed just before New Year. Wild weather, only 3 rooms occupied, but very warm welcome. Food good and seemed locally sourced. Room warm and comfortable. It was top floor with great views of the castle.

We stayed at the Manor House for a new year break. We often visit Holy Island as it is the place we got engaged in 2007, and we wanted to stay on the Island to experience all its charms.
On a visit last may we found the Manor House, and found they had a vacancy for new year, normally it...

What a lovely hotel - stayed two nights in October when a friend got married at the castle, we had two small children and booked a family room. It was a great sized clean room at the top of the hotel with all you would expect such as kettle, variety of refreshments, TV, complimentary toiletries and a modern bathroom. Really...

This is a perfect example of what small English Hotels should be like, comfortable beds, friendly service, excellent food, comfortable bar and staff who genuinely seem to care about delivering the best in all areas including high quality toiletries in the bathroom and quality biscuits on the tea tray. The location is stunning being right next to the Priory and...

I recently stayed at this hotel for an overnight break with my wife. The room we were allocated, room 10, had fantastic views of the harbour to one side and to the other side we overlooked the Priory. We could have spent hours in our room just admiring the scenery. We also had a grandstand view of a beautiful sunrise...

Would have been good except for attitude of bar lady. Rude and unhelpful. Got the impression she didnt want us there at all. If you're a local though she's full of smiles. Will give place a wide berth next time.

I stayed here for three nights in room 10 – fantastic views ( I'll try to upload some photos). The Hotel has been extended at the front to provide a new bar/eating area. It's really quite nice. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was generally very good- let down only by the chips, which I think were chunky...

Bar lady did not smile once. Decided she had had enough of serving tea and coffees so told subsequent guests they didn't serve them and told them to go elsewhere. Told us no juice for children (but found some for locals children!). Overhead telling local at the bar she would much rather be at home watching the telly and couldn't...
