Every year we travel to Holy Island for a night's rest and relaxation. For the last two years, we've stayed at Bamburgh View in the room at the back on the ground floor. We just love it - it's peaceful, relaxing and has wonderful hosts - and an even better breakfast! The room is cosy and immaculately clean with lovely... More

We have stayed here several times now. Bamburgh View is lovel B&b. The rooms are finished to an extremely high standard. Carol and Jamie are very friendly and work hard to ensure you enjoy your stat. Breakfast was very well organised, there was lots to chose from and tasted delicious. The B&B is in an excellent location. Well worth a... More

After reading the review dated 2nd September 2011 I feel compelled to write another review on Bamburgh View. Myself and my husband have been staying on Holy Island for the last 10 years with quite a few of your stays being at Bamburgh View. If you want lovely surroundings, a friendly welcome, a full belly breakfast and a good cuppa,... More

We booked Bamburgh view as a one night stop over on our way to Edinburgh and also to try another place on Holy Island. We were not disappointed, the room was comfortable and in a good location between the Ship and the Crown and Anchor to choose for our evening meal. We had a good nights sleep followed by a... More

We decided to book Bamburgh View as it was the highest rated B&B on TripAdvisor! We got to the island just after dark and got a bit lost trying to find it, luckily we stopped to ask for directions and ended up talking to a couple staying at the same place! Once we arrived, Carole was very welcoming and friendly,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Bamburgh View B&B to experience being benighted on Holy Island. Bamburgh View is an old stone terraced cottage, inside it is modern, well appointed and spotlessly clean. On suite facilities are first class and our room had a distant view of Bamburgh Castle. The owners are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with regard to... More

We've just spend a weekend at Bamburgh View; and it was truly excellent. My husband and I stay in hotels and B&B’s 1 or 2 nights every week, and we see the very best to the “oh so poor”. This definitely fits into the best. The rooms are beautifully presented, clean and with lots of personal touches. They are a... More

This time one could actually see Bamburgh Castle in the distance :)! It's our 2d time we returned to Bamburgh View and as last time - we couldn't be more satisfied. The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable people, they do their best to make you feel at home during your stay. We were travelling as a group of 4... More

If Tripadvisor could give points for cheerful amateurism, this place would rank No 1 in the North-East – and possibly the world! If you don’t expect too much from a B & B, then you will love this place – and many do, to judge from some previous reviews (mainly from Tripadvisor virgins) and comments in the visitors’ book. Carol... More

This was our first visit to Holy Island. We found this an excellent B&B. The rooms were airy and very clean. The bathroom a good size and the renovation finished to the highest of standards. I would have been happy to spend the rest of my holiday in the shower. There was a fridge that guests could access, so you... More
