The staff made us feel very welcomed and catered to our needs. Food was delicious and atmosphere was nice. Room was clean and relaxing.

I know the Black Bull has had some great reviews. However the food we experienced was quite dreadful. Having considered the menu we settled for 2 of the special burgers at £9.50. We stayed here for a short break while visiting family who were holidaying close by and had enjoyed lunch there. We received a very warm welcome by the owner. The room was very clean, well equipped, comfortable and warm. The breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would definately return. Highly recommended.

Went to Black Bull for sunday lunch, was not too sure if good idea as last time (couple of years ago ) was terrible, but new owners have really turned it around, was made very welcome, and food was excellent. will certainly go back. 2 courses for £10.
