Middle of the road restaurant with untrained waiting staff who "muddle through". Well cooked but unimaginative food. Uncommonly eclectic decorations with what looked like Christmas decorations (in May).

Stayed here for 3 nights on a busy weekend, and were made to feel welcomed by friendly and accommodating staff. Spotlessly clean and well cared for. Great food in the restaurant, with well chosen local ingredients, and excellent breakfast. Would recommend it to family, friends, and anyone wanting to visit the Farnes.

Called here whilst stopping in Beadnell village. Meal was excellent, would recommend terrine starter & whitebait plus the steak and Farne island bitter pie. Nice staff. Popular even on a Thursday evening with the rain lashing down so would recommend booking.

An excellent hotel in an ideal location. Just spent two nights but exceptionally enjoyable. Breakfasts set you up for the day with some of the best black pudding I have ever had.
