Three visits and all excellent! Redfoot Lea is such a lovely place to stay. The accomodation is beautifully planned, extremely clean and without doubt the best B & B accomodation we have ever stayed in ( an opinion shared by our daughter, who joined us on 2 occasions). Philly and Andrew are attentive but not not intrusive hosts with an... More

Well I really cannot stay away from Redfoot Lea and the wonderful Philly - as I type out this review I have already booked in for another visit. For me Redfoot Lea is the perfect B+B accomodation, beautifully designed yet practical, a warm hostess yet not intrusive (definitely ask Philly for dinner recommnedations, she knows the local area extremely well).... I booked Redfoot Lea Bed and Breakfast after a previous stay and once again was not disappointed. Philly is such a warm hostess making you feel so welcome. The cleanliness and quality of the property is exceptional and you truly feel that you have arrived home. I could not recommend this property enough and my family travelling with me rated... More

Only wish we'd been able to stay more than the one night we did here! As most reviews already state, Philippa and Andrew are amazing hosts, and make you feel as if you'd known them for years! Their home is exquisite, relaxing too, yet has that very much lived-in atmosphere all around it. As for food - amazing, fresh and... More

We don't stay at b&Bs often but Redfoot Lea could change all that. Phylli and Andrew gave us such a warm welcome to their beautiful home, a stunning barn conversion in local stone. The room was very comfortable , in a contemporary/classic design with great attention to detail. we were offered a glass of wine the evening we arrived (two... More

I stayed here recently with a male friend in a twin room on the way to seahouses to scuba dive with the seals, when Phillipa opened the door, we were absolutely amazed at the welcome she gave us and a better feeling was to come as she showed us to the beautiful room.she gave us a full and varied menu... Very welcoming B&B. Spotless room with lovely en-suite and superb breakfasts. Really good base for exploring the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. More

Redfoot Lea was a superb base from which to explore the highlights of beautiful Northumberland. Situated just outside Alnwick it is very central and as it is not right in the town there was no trouble with parking as this is on site - in fact we parked right next to our door!! The B&B itself was lovely - stylish... More

Just returned from a short stay at Redfoot Lea. What a super place and very convenient for Alnwick. Phillipa's daughter Victoria looked after us superbly and we enjoyed her warm hospitality and excellent cooking. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Hope to come back again soon! More
