What a find, we went for a short break with friends to Alnwick to visit the castles and gardens, Phiilppa and Andrew were the perfect hosts, the rooms were warm and welcoming and we were well provided for with treats and the cake in the afternoon went down very well. You could not fault the breakfasts with lots of choice,... More

What a wonderful B & B. We were made very welcome by Philly and Andrew. Excellent bedroom, comfy beds, good location. All the little extras you would expect in a 5 star hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both for an excellent stay - we will return !

Thank you very much to Philippa and family for a great overnight stay. We arrived late but were made very welcome. After a great sleep in a beautiful room we had a big hearty breakfast before heading on our way. So glad we stayed at Redfoot Lea and didn't waste our time at a travel lodge. A great location for... This was our first experience of a B&B chosen because our friends were staying on the Caravan Location. We agree with everything that other reviewers have said. Philly and Andrew were very welcoming when we arrived. Everything you could ever need in the room including TV, iron, ironing board, bathrobes, hairdryer, toiletries, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, bottled water, jar of biscuits and... More

There is nothing I would change about this B&B. The bedroom was warm, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The lounge, with its woodburning stove and lovely sofas was a thoroughly nice place to be. Most of all, Philly and Andrew are simply wonderful examples of great hospitality. This was our third visit over a period of five years and we will... More

A truly beautiful bnb which felt just like home! Within 5mins of arriving we were sat in front of the log burner with a coffee and biscuits! Everything about this place is just spot on, the location, the breakfast, the owners and the bedroom. Down to the last detail everything has been thought out in a very personal way, right... More

We first met Philly and Andrew when visiting their certified site with our motorhome in October. We have just returned from another visit, this time taking both my parents and mum in law to stay with them in their wonderful b&b whilst we stayed in our motorhome again. What a wonderful trip! We joined our family for breakfast each morning... More
