Stayed here 31/10 for one night after a day out at Santa Pod. I think some of the previous reviewers were expecting a little much frankly- after all this is a TRAVELODGE and not the Hilton, ie its cheap, clean and basic. Most people will never pay the full rate but even at the £29 we paid we thought it... more

We found the Travelodge easily enough and the reception staff were polite and helpful. Our family sized room was clean and well maintained, typical Travelodge accommodation. Unfortunately we were on the first floor and as this was the start of a month's touring holiday we had rather a lot of lugguge which we had to carry upstairs as there is... more

We usually stay nearby in another hotel chain ,but decided to stay here due to the special offer of £29 for a family room.Firstly we spotted 2 rats in the carpark-not a good start! The receptionist was friendly but when we got to our family room it was smelly and the children's beds hadn't been made up.We made 1 of... more

When driving westbound on the A45 you will see the Travelodge along with American Diner and petrol station on the opposite (Eastbound) side, and you access it by turning round at the junction with the A509 - what the hotel website doesn't tell you that this is a 4 miles detour and when driving at 11pm, tired and anxious to... more

My boyfriend and I stayed her for one night after going to Santa Pod. Seeing as he booked it months ago, he only paid £10, so we could really grumble. The room itself was a good size for the two of us, but was classed as a family room, and would have been a bit of a squash for a... more

I have been working away in the Northamptonshire area and needed a place to stay for two nights near to my Wellingborough branch and have always found Travel Lodge to provide cheap and cheerful accommodation. So without any hesistation I booked a single room and made my way over there. The first thing which went wrong was being told I... more

Location The hotel is on one side of a duel carriage way with no turn off on the other side which is annoying so directions depend on where you are coming from. Also the sat nav I used directed me right passed the place onto the other side of the duel carriage way. If you are driving keep your eyes... more

I booked the hotel last December and got a rate of £26 for a family room, basically you can't go wrong at that price. Check in was quick and efficient, the receptionist was polite. The room is standard like any travel lodge though could do with a good clean i.e. there are cob webs in the corner of the room... more
