This is the second time we have stayed at Whashton Springs - actually 4 times now because we stayed out and back on our visit to Falkirk from Cambridge last year and have done the same this year. You get a great welcome here. Whashton Springs is a working farm and the B&B is run by Jane. There are bedrooms... More

A most welcome cup of tea and slice of cake on arrival was just the start of a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The courtyard room was really nice with a powerful shower, spacious wardrobe and shortbreads with the tea making things. There were lots of places to sit outside in the garden, with the sound of birds singing and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this B&B at the end of March 2012. I had stayed previously in 1996 and had promised myself I would return one day - I didn't expect it to take me 16 years! The owner, Jane, was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was in the main house overlooking the fields which were full... More

I love Whashton Springs! We have stayed here twice now and I can't wait to return. I bring small groups on tours of the UK and Ireland and this is exactly what we look for in the accommodations that we choose. Jane is absolutely lovely as is the rest of her family. I know that everything will be perfect from... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this lovely B&B on 16th and 17th March. Our hostess, Jane, was very friendly and welcoming and we were put in room 3 in the main house, which is a gorgeous four-poster bed suite. Upon arrival, Jane made us a pot of coffee and cakes, and booked a table for us at the Italian... More

We chanced upon this B and B on the internet and had no idea what to expect, what a delight. A wonderful hostess who makes you a pot of coffee and cake upon arrival, checks you have everything you need and is the most pleasant B and B owner we have ever met! The rooms offer either 4 poster grandeur... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Whashton Springs farm for only one night in October and wish it could have been longer. The welcome was warm and genuine and the accommodation was peaceful, well equipped, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The attention to detail made it obvious the owners care about their guests. Jane was kind enough to reserve a... More

Whashton Springs Farm is a delightful, picturesque B&B ideal for anyone who wants a great country get-away. We have visited many other B&Bs in Yorkshire and have kept returning to this one for 5 years, and find it a great base to explore the countryside, as we are keen walkers and this is a lovely area. Jane and David provide... More

We were looking forward to our first visit to Whashton Springs Farm and we were not disappointed in any way. The location is out in the country but only 3 miles from Richmond. Our courtyard rooms were clean, comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. One bedroom overlooked the beautifully kept garden filled with wild-life, the other the courtyard. Jane, our... More
