We stayed here on a thursday night for my sons parade through the town on the friday. Parked outside the pub and my son run in to get a pass so we could park for free. Entered the pub and a lovely young man made himself know to me. Told him we was staying and he took me to our... More

We have returned today from a two night (fri and Sat) stay here. We arrived by car. There is no dedicated parking and you need a disc that you can get from the tavern or any of the shops on the square. However we were told that if you can grab a space in the loading bay then the (almost)... More

we booked to stay here for new years eve at £75 per room & it was worth every penny, the staff were all very friendly & did everything possible to make our time there pleasant. The rooms were nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, plenty of tea, coffee & biscuits etc & it was nice & clean. The breakfast was... More

I and my partner stayed here for one night on Saturday 10th November. The room was lovely, freshly decorated in a modern style, the people were friendly and the breakfast excellent. (Room 1) Unfortunately the shower was a freezing cold dribble and the room was freezing too. Heaters were provided but were not turned on prior to a our arrival... More

Very pleased, couldn’t disagree more with the last two comments. Friendly cheerful staff, nicely decorated rooms that looked as though they had recently been renovated, comfortable beds and breakfast was lovely. What more do you want from a B&B. Oh and the entertainment was great on Saturday night, very good band I think they were called The 58’s. Would definitely... More

I think even Alex Polizzi would be stuck on where to begin with this poor excuse for an hotel! We are well travelled people and this is the very worst place we have ever stayed in and, believe me, we've stayed in some well ropey places over the years. We were put off the minute we walked through the door... More

We booked the family room in this Inn as three 20-somethings looking for a short bank holiday break fairly close to home. After deciding on Richmond, our budget and numbers dictated that we stayed in a relatively cheap (£120 for 3 of us, cheaper for doubles) room that accommodated us all. We could not have been more impressed. The Castle... More

A nice quaint grade II listed building situated in a cobbled market square in the heart of a Yorkshire Dales village, sounds perfect doesnt it ........... until you decide to have a meal there. Just about the worst meal experience I can remember. As if the frozen bland tasteless microwaved meal and music loud enough to drown out any conversation... More

Stayed in 6 different hotels/pubs over 9 weeks of courses in Catterick. Although I only stayed a week here my room was better than most others. The pub would be my local if I lived there because of the people I met who were very welcoming. This is a pub with rooms rather than a hotel but I have stayed... More
