Bailey Motte cottage is a lovely little B & B, with the added bonus of having a lounge area as well as a warm and cozy bedroom and fabulous bathroom. Lynn and Andy are very friendly and have provided everything that you might need to enjoy your time there. It is ideally situated to explore Knaresborough and the surrounding areas.... More

We are so glad we found Bailey Motte Cottage through TripAdvisor. Andy and Lynn are the perfect hosts; providing wonderful accommodation for just 2 guests on the whole top floor of their beautiful cottage......a comfy lounge with TV and HiFi, a delightful bedroom, a large bathroom and a separate shower. OK. First let me say that I did not stay at the Bailey Motte. I live in Knaresborough and we recently had some visitors from New Zealand who booked into the BM having found it on the Knaresborough website, the link to which I had forwarded to them. They stayed at the BM for 3 days and talked about it... More
