Stayed here for one night in March whilst walking the Pennine way. Staff were very friendly and the room was ok with a seperate bathroom which was shared. Very good value accommodation. Food in the bar was certainly better than the average pub fayre and breakfast was good as well. Enjoyed my stay and will certainly return!

If you are looking for the worst service and the poorest quality food in Hawes, visit The Crown Hotel. Mediocre would be a step up for this establishment and I cannot recommend this to any visitor to the lovely town of Hawes.

We enjoyed an evening meal here in october. Warm and very welcoming with log fires and real ale. The pub is obviously very popular with locals aswell as visitors. Service was great, as was the lovely food, lots to choice from and veggie options too. We would recommend The Crown and would visit again.
