The highlight was the food, very substantial breakfast with creamy homemade yogurt and coulis for the cereal followed by the works fry-up.Dinners were excellent, we were on... More

Having popped in a couple of times for a drink over the course of our long weekend in Arkengarthdale we decided to eat there on Sunday 27th November. The bar person kindly advised us to book to ensure we got the time slot we wanted, despite this being a Sunday in November and this proved to be excellent advice. I... More

We have often eaten at the Inn over the years and have stayed several times. Accommodation is very good and comfortable. Lovely touches like 2 fridges sited near the rooms which keep bottles of milk cool for the early morning cuppa. Welcome and service always good and the food excellent. Ideal for short breaks throughout the year. More

Stayed here for four nights in September for a long overdue break. What a lovely hotel with very friendly staff!! We were allocated a spotlessly clean, luxurious double room with en-suite bathroom and stunning views over the surrounding countryside which were a pleasure to wake up to each morning. The evening meals were delicious (we stayed on a DBB rate)... More

We stayed here whlist celebrating my mother in laws 70th birthday. Other family members have stayed here before hence the recommendation. Lovely room and although overlooking the main road we were not disturbed by traffic. The staff were very good and friendly although we were told when booking our evening meal that our nightly rate included an evening meal allowance... More
