Like previous reviews it is like being in an episode of like on mars at one point I was expecting the proffesional to burst in. It was so dire I checked out after a few hours and drove home which was a 5 hours drive even though I had just done a days work. The decor is very tired carpets... more

We stayed here whilst my father was very ill in hospital in Louth, so turned up late and tired - staff on reception lovely (duty manager), food good, room OK if dated and scruffy in places. Carpets on stairs tripping hazard as they are so shredded - H&S inspectors please note, and also anyone who wears high heeled shoes! Apparently... more

Overall this hotel like mentioned in nearly all of the reviews is in desperate need of refurbishment. I thought it was bad enough that I was charged £68 for a room without a full English breakfast but when I arrived to check in the woman on reception informed me that I had booked two rooms, one single and one double.... more

The hotel could do with updating decor is very dated, however rooms are clean and cosy. Reception staff very friendly didnt charge us for breakfast , breakfast was very nice. good value for money would stay again more

I had three nights in Grimsby and stayed at two different hotels. I just had one night at the Elizabeth Hotel. I arrived very late in the evening so I didn’t have a really good look round. i loved syaying at the hotel the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and very elpful. the hotel yes could do with a decorator in there but i give a great big compliment to the chef he or she is amazing i would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Grimsby... more

We went to a Wedding on Oct 4th. I agree the hotel is tired and needed updating and on arrival the heating had broken down but the staff gave us a portable heater . The meal was wonderful and the breakfast was lovely. and the Staff I thought were smashing. so all in all not as bad as the reveiws... more
