A basic, very central, small roomed hotel. Reasonable priced, so can't complain. Dated cosmetically, but clean...just what's needed for a one night stay when going out in Melton for the night.

Because the double room was booked online we had already paid for 5 nights! Not prepossessing from the outside but we found this better than the reviews suggested. Clean, comfortable, service from the staff at reception was excellent - sorting out somewhere to put the cycles, advising on dinner options. Value for money not bad at £59 for a double room. Would stay here again very cheerfully.

I was worried after reading all the reviews about this hotel. It was nowhere as bad as suggested. The rooms were clean if a little dated and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and most important the beer served in the bar was excellent
