Sysonby Knoll Hotel is a fantastic place to stay, we stayed 2 nights in the anexe (room 32) was perfect, really roomy, comfy beds and big bathroom with soft white towels, lovely shower, it beat my expectations, very impressed. The Sysonby is a fantastic hotel, good value, good quality and with friendly and helpful staff. I use the Sysonby whenever I am in the area and would not consider using anywhere else. The relaxed atmosphere and the traditional bar, dining room and lounge all with extended views over the countryside provide a really nice ambiance.

This place doesn't have a huge amount of curb appeal but on our recent stay we couldn't have asked for better service and a more comfortable room. Stayed one night. Made very welcome. Including our young staffy. Rooms comfortable. Encouraged to enjoy gardens. Breakfast good using fresh produce. Staff made the stay, so that if we are in area we would come back.
