What can I say? From the moment we arrived at Middle Flass Lodge we were impressed. Met by Nigel, one half of the couple that own and run the Lodge, we were immediatley made to feel welcome. After apologising profusely for putting us in the annex, we were shown to our double room in a small seperate building - and I can honestly say apologies were not necessary. The room was warm, inviting and decorated and maintained to a beautiful standard. Everything was spotless, with an en-suite, ample storage space, tea and coffee facilities and a colour television. This was the first of many time we lamented only being able to stay for one night.
After a short rest we returned to the cosy lounge for welcome coffee and tea, served with a piece of homemade cake. We also chose to eat at the Lodge that evening (Nigel is a former chef), and so selected from the menu board our first and second courses. The menu truely had something for all tastes.
