Went for lunch and had pate and garlic mushrooms to start lovely and fresh just enough flavour. Had rump steak for main the vegetables were cooked perfectly crisp and tasty, the sauce on the steak was just enough, the rump steak was what you expect a bit tough but well with the price. Absolutely beautiful grounds, lovely food, super helpful & friendly staff. Very clean room & bathroom with a spa bath, i'm a type 1 diabetic so the sweetener as opposed to just sugar was a welcome change in the room. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We chose this hotel as it was close to our business trip and up in the country. We were quite surprised how secluded it was. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
