The first thing that hits you is the smell of a badly run old peoples' home. Next, the general run down nature of the place. The room had no running hot water, only half a carpet, bed linen from the 80's and that's not just the design. The Quilt covers had holes in and the covers, quilts and pillows were all stained. The uht milk that accompanied the loose tea bags on the tea and coffee station where several months out of date and one had solidified completely. We were woken at 6 in the morning by the rain pouring out of a broken gutter and thundering onto a corrugated plastic roof below. Came down for breakfast at the designated time to find the place empty, no staff and no breakfast. Had to return several times throughout the day before catching someone in to let them know we would not be staying another night to be told that they could not offer a refund as they needed 48 hours for a canellation! Lots more I could say but hopefully you've got the picture, eventually got my refund... more
