After reading quite a few bad reviews, we where pleasantly surprised to find a spacious clean room. Comfy bed and a clean but basic bathroom. This travel lodge is in a good location, and is located far enough away from the Motorway to not be effected by to much noise. Good Value for money and defintely one of the better... more

This Travelodge is located at the services on the M2. From the outside it looks very dated and the rooms do not look like they have been refurbished since it opened in the 70s or 80s. The man who served at reception was very helpful, pleasant and good natured. However as you will see the number of not so good... more

The staff here were very friendly and efficient, the best I have encountered at a Travelodge for a long time. However this in no way compensated for the state of the room. It wasn't dirty or smelly but it was shabby and the bathroom equally grubby. A saving grace was that the room had not been baked in the Summer... more

This is the worst travelodge we stayed at. The staff were friendly but the room smelt, and the bathroom had mould in the shower. Only stay if you can get a cheap price for the room more

Bathroom had mould growing everywhere. Paint falling off the walls. No heating in bathroom as towel rail had been disconnected 'for our safety' - what about our comfort? 'Hot' water barely warm. This was the fourth night of our Kent trip, the first three were at the Ashford Travelodge. We paid £9 for the room, so it was a bargain, but I would hesitate to pay full price. The toilet had urine drip stains all around the outside (could smell it in the room) and some brown stains I'd rather not dwell... more

hotel rooms stink we had 3 rooms all smelly so much so we had booked and paid to stay on our way back a few days later but would never stay here again so drove past. find somewhere else terrible hotel more
