The Hotel was once used as a stable for Hever Castle just up the road, rooms are tiny and modest nothing fancy but clean and quiet! Nice area, a few miles from the Edenbridge train station, easy enough to find via GPS, makes an excellent base to explore England via car. Internet was free but only in main lounge and... More

I stayed here in May when they were doing some building work to the hotel. My one resounding memory was the food - fantastic cheeses and meats selection at lunch/breakfast/dinner! The rooms are basic, no TV and internet access was not good in my room so it was a sensory depravation for a couple of days - however there is... More

I stayed here for a week & liked this hotel particularly because it is quite different from other hotels...it is located in the middle of greenary..a few miles from the main Edenbridge railway station.. The rooms are quite old fashioned with antique furniture..the beds are comfortable, although not the best of beds..the place is extremely quiet & if one wishes... More

Overall a disappointing stay at the Hever Hotel. Whilst we didn't actually use any of the facilities within the hotel itself as we arrived very late, we found our room fairly basic with no TV nor radio, no bottled water yet a fridge and basic condiments in the bathroom. We were told to phone reception in the morning, half an... More

The Hever Hotel is set within the ancient stables of Hever Castle. The rooms are like small little cottages, which is a lovely setting. The interior of the rooms is lovely, though not luxurious and the bathrooms are functional, but esthetically could be better. It is somewhat strange to have a wonderful outside, but a more functional, rather than luxurious,... More

my husband and I booked on-line from November 26 - 28th and paid for the 2 nights on-line. We had planned to visit Hever Castle on the 27th as we were made to understand that Hever Hotel backed onto the Castle as we did not have a car we wanted something in walking distance of the Castle. FYI The hotel... More
