Booking in process- about 30 seconds - quick and helpful. Rooms OK - need re-paint. No spare pillows, However, good value for money more

For a Travelodge I think awarding 3 stars is pretty generous on my part, they aren't that cheap at rack rate and pretty basic but this was convenient and the bed comfy albeit next to a dual carriageway very noisy if you have a room at the front. The receptionist was head and shoulders the star of the event, she... more

We are currently awaiting a phone call apology from the Manager of this branch due to problems we had at the weekend. I would not stay here again, but would stay at the Holiday Inn Express about 5 minutes away far far nicer for a cheap night. We found a pair of a previous customer's dirty socks under the bed,... more

We have just returned from a short break over Easter in Canterbury. We use Travelodges a lot for these breaks as our (well-behaved) dog is made very welcome. I telephoned a week before our arrival to confirm we were definitely coming (they get a lot of no-shows apparently) and I asked for a quiet ground floor room for our disabled... more

We stayed here for one night with an offer of £15.00 per night for the room. Needlesss to say we did not expect a lot and were not dissapointed. The room was a fair size and the king size bed comfortable. We had a fold up sofa in the room but did not have to use it. A kettle and... more

I booked a double room at this hotel and received written confirmation of my booking. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that I couldn't have the room I had booked, and would have to have a single room instead. After a long discussion with the receptionist she admitted that they have a policy of over-booking rooms,... more

I agree whole-heartedly with the review posted below (March 28th review). We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It was a "tired" looking building, that felt like it was understaffed. The room was just "okay". I saw what appeared to be clean linen placed on the floor of the hallway outside of a couple of rooms when we first arrived.... more

This hotel is actually located nearer to Whitstable than Canterbury. But it's only about 5 miles to Canterbury. The hotel is located along the side of the A299 which is quite a busy dual-carriageway. There is a Shell petrol station and a Little Chef beside the travelodge which is quite convenient. However the traffic noise from the dual carriageway can... more
