Everywhere was clean and tidy, fixtures were a little worn, but to expected in a very reasonably priced Inn. Whilst not the owner's fault, a unseasonably cold May night made our room nippy - the only substantial thing I'd like improved was the warmth!

We booked at the last minute having found other places fully booked. We had a room at the top of the top which was clean and spacious. Towels were changed every day and bed made. No complaints about the breakfast or food in general. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not luxurious but clean, comfortable and very good value for money.... More

Breakfast was great, rooms great. Don't expect luxury...it is your typical English pub, in the country, type hotel. It even came with an interesting history. we walked across the road and checked out the beautiful old church and cemetery. We loved it! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.!!!

We booked the Ship for a random night away in February, knowing it would be quiet and peaceful. Easy to find, on the main road through Dymchurch, with ample parking for the time of year. We were attracted by the reviews of hauntings and the age of the hotel. We were surprised to find when we walked in that at... More

We had a rather luke warm welcome and were shown to our rooms, which were not as we had booked. The single room we had requested was in fact a double, and the double was a family room. To reach the double room we had to go up some very steep stairs in semi darkness. The girl showing us seemed... More

Evening Meal great and accommodation well above the norm with huge bathroom ( although only hand held shower with corner bath) . However skip £5 breakfast and walk along the Shore - take in the view and give yourself 5mins walk/exercise to a host of alternatives as ingredients used were like typical greasy spoon. Ok £5 not much but why... More

We stayed for two nights in a double room ensuite room which was clean and basic. There was no relenishment of clean towels or clean tea cups on our second day and the window was propped open with a piece of wood. There was hardly amy information in the room about the hotel facilities and area. We were underwhelmed by... More
