A full English breakfast with award winning sausages is promised at weekends, but during our visit the owner was absent and we only got a slice of toast and a coissant.

Comfortable weekend stay in a lovely old house. Excellent breakfast and friendly owners. Good choice for walkers as it is right on the Ridgeway and very close to the Ashridge Forest. Great find in an area where accommodation is hard to find.
