We have just returned from staying at Letchworth Hall for two nights. One night was a gift from friends on a Group on deal and we paid for an additional night prior to arriving. This hotel isn't terrible neither is it great. They need to decide what they are going to concentrate their efforts on and do that well instead... More

We had a voucher through Travelzoo for a meal for two for £29 and it didn't disappoint. There was a set menu with 5 options for each course. The options were very varied with a choice for vegetarians too. The portion sizes were very good too, felt very stuffed afterwards! The waiters were attentive and checked that everything was ok... Booked for one evening due to a Travelzoo deal at the attached restaurant. The reception staff were friendly enough. Thought the room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small and there was mold on the ceiling as there wasn't any ventaliation which was a shame. The windows let a huge amount... More

Dear Guest, Thank-you for your review. You have highlighted some keys issues which I can assure your are in hand. We are currently undergoing a maintenance programme which includes the bathroom ventilation systems, in order to erradicate any such mould. These works are due to be completed in the next three months. Thank-you once again for your review. More

The Letchworth Hall is in a pleasant setting and conveniently located close to the A1(M). Our room was comfortable but quite basic: there was a tv, en-suite facilities, a safe and other useful items, but no fridge, an uncomfortable bed and other items of 'cheap' furniture. Outside our room, we made use of the lovely dining room (the conservatory was... More

Booked afternoon tea to celibrate a 90th Birthday. Looked forward to the event as we had been before (last year) when the whole experience was very enjoyable. However, on this occasion it was a shambles from start to finish. We were badly positioned, with limited waiter service and given lukewarm coffee flavoured tea (no choice) from a flask, together with... More

Stayed one night on the weekend with my husband. Room was a decent size, looked a little like a travel lodge (just not as cheap in price)! Bed very hard and the room was quite cold. Nice bathroom with soft towels and powerful shower. Toilet roll holder broken and left on the side. Tea & coffee making facilities provided with... More

Good sized rooms, basic bathrooms, the hotel is split into 2 parts - the old and historic and the new and very modern. Is very good value, but nothing special. The bed mattress felt very, very thin so was not very comfy. More

We visited this hotel just recently using the Groupon voucher. I wanted to make our weekend a bit more special so I asked if I could upgrade to one of the Bridal Suites, which was very pleasant indeed...very spacious with a half-tester bed, two armchairs, a sofa, and a large dining table with high-backed leather seats. The bathroom was of... More

Stayed at hotel to celebrate my mothers birthday found rooms spacious and comfortable had issue with main light in my room which took over half an hour to be rectified. Dinner that evening was pleasant enough with a fair choice of food on the menu. Breakfast the next morning there was a fair choice of items to choose from overall... More
