Sounds like that not a lot has changed with this place, and is gradually fading away even further down the hotel star rating system. The staff were about average, as was breakfast. Just spent two nights in Glen eagle manor. Very disappointed. Moved rooms three times before I got a room with a bath. Unlike the first two, had not been refurbished. Carpet needed a good vacuuming. A huge room with sitting area, and a very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was freshly cooked, and a good selection. Only downside was not bing able to get the shower temperature on anything but boiling hot or freezing cold. Despite a noisy wedding reception our sleep wasn't disturbed.
