We're regular visitors to this site, mainly because of the beer festivals held in the neighbouring Red Shoot Inn. We find the site consistently clean, well kept and friendly. The amenities are excellent, particularly the underfloor heating in the loos - an absolute bonus on a weekend as cold as ours was!! The shop is always well stocked and we... More

Went for long walk in the New Forest and ended up here for sustenance half way round. The food looked really good so will be back to try. Great place for drinks and lunch. Great service and location. Will be back very soon.

We visited in the last week of the season so site was quiet - around 30 people pitched. Our pitch was fairly level, but recommend levellers as some areas not so flat. The washroom facilities are very clean with the addition of underfloor heating - no complaints there. The washing up area is kept clean and tidy and very well... More

We camped in June when it rained most of the time, we went with two other families. All the kids loved the campsite and made lots of friends, the rain did not spoil thier fun jumping in muddy puddles and visiting Peppa Pig world. The first night we were given a pitch in the boggy part of the campsite, it... More

This was our first ever camp as a family in our own tent and we chose the location quite close to home for a two night trial camp with experienced friends. Knowing the New Forest quite well and having cycled past before we knew the site was in a fantastic area with scenic walks all arounds and ponies wandering past.... More

The location is great with many walks straight from the site. The New Forest itself is amazing and well worth the visit. We visited at a quiet time of the year and found the site to be well run with all of the mod-cons available but a few irritating points that people need to be aware of. 1.The floors inside... More

We camped for 3 nights and it was our 2nd time of staying here. The improvements since the last visit are brilliant. Only downside was the playground, as there was nothing for a 2 year old, a swing or a slide would be great. Pub is lovely and says familys welcome but there is no kids menu.

We went camping for three days at red shoot. It is our second time and there has been improvements since our last visit. The bathroom block has really improved. The park has improved but does not offer enough for younager campers. Our two year old son had nothing that he could go on on in the playground. The pub is... More

This was our second time to this camp site. A lovely site right in the middle of the forest with a pub next door if the weather is bad. Showers and toilets were always warm and clean. Last year we were in the sheep padock which was great. I requested it this year to be told it wasnt in use... More

We stayed for two nights as our first caravan trip with our daughters. It's a lovely site. Despite being busy it was peaceful, especially in the evening. Facilities were excellent. No queuing for showers or toilets. Pitches spacious and the shop was well stocked. The adjacent pub does very good value food. Big portions of solid pub grub with friendly... More
