Stayed in the wonderful Forest View room with the four poster bed and John and Stephanie excelled again once more. Thanks again. More

We travelled as a group , staying in many hotels and bed and breakfasts, this was without doubt our finest experience. The welcome through to our breakfats was good and we were made to feel so at home, we would recommend Whitemoor house to friend without reservation. More

We used this very welcoming accommodation for an overnight stay on our way to join our cruise in Southampton. Having been greeted with a pot of tea and home made cake we were shown to our clean, comfortable room. The offer (accepted) of more tea on our return from the town after going for a meal was very pleasant and... More

Once again we visited Whitemoor House and again were delighted with the experience. Nothing is too much trouble for John and Stephanie; the rooms are very clean and comfortable; the varied menu for breakfast is more than you would ever want; including home-made jams, lemon curd and marmalade. During our stay we spoke to others who had stayed at Whitemoor... More

I would definitely recommend staying at the Whitemoore House B&B. John and Stephanie were so helpful and friendly - collecting me from the station and then dropping me off - even when I told them the wrong train times! The complementary tea and cake on arrival was very welcome. Breakfast was also delicious with lots of choice. Nothing bad to... More

My fiance and I stayed at Whitemoor House in the first week of October 2011 and it was absolutely flawless. Stephanie and John Drew have very rightly won the AA guide award for "Friendliest Landlady/landlord" - they couldnt be any more friendly, welcoming or helpful. Their knowledge of the local area is nothing short of encyclopedic, and the recommended some... More

My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at Whitemoor House over October half-term. The pot of tea on arrival was just what we needed. John and Stephanie could not have been more welcoming or helpful, guiding us as to places to visit, walks to do and restaurants to eat at. Their recommendations were spot on. Our room and... More

Received a friendly welcome from the owners on arrival and everything from then on was very agreeable. Comfortable room and tasty breakfast with homemade preserves. Easy walk to town and convenient starting point for forest excursions. More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in early October, we booked last minute and wanted a nice relaxing break together. That is exactly what we got. There is lots to admire about this place, it is very clean and well maintained and you are made to feel very welcome by John and Stephanie. It has a very... More
