I stayed at this hotel as part of a wedding party on 20 April. The wedding meal was average in my opinion (I had the vegetarian option though). My partner had the non-veggie meal and enjoyed it although I don't think there was enough of it. As for the dessert, I quite enjoyed it and my partner thought it was... More

I attended at Esseborne Manor on Friday 20 April 2012 for a family wedding. The setting was idylic and the whole day was just lovely. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Our room had a four poster bed and was large and roomy. The bathroom had a large bath with a shower. The food for the wedding was delicious,... More

I've been lucky enough to stay here whilst visiting Andover on a couple of occasions. Each time I have been warmly welcomed, they have offered to carry my bag to my room (and done so despite my objections). The rooms have all been large and impressive If you are unlucky you will get a large room with a comfortable bed... More

We booked directly with the hotel for two nights in a spa room DB&B. I think our room was called Newbury, which was a good size and the large window overlooked a field of sheep and lambs which were very entertaining. The very large bed was good and comfortable with proper sheets and blankets. The bathroom had a spa bath... More

Having had a marvellous time as Esseborne 18 months ago, I felt the stress fall from my shoulders as I walked in! The rooms are exquisite, the public areas are charming, the staff are attentive, friendly and competent, the food is excellent and the afternoon tea was very memorable, a must! Highly recommended and very good value.

We had a delightful overnight stay at Esseborne Manor on 11th March 2012. We had been given a Groupon gift voucher for a Champagne tea, overnight stay and full breakfast. We then upgraded this to a luxury room with a spa bath in the bathroom and a 5 course dinner - both of whcih were well worth the extra modest... More

I went to Esseborne with my friend as part of the Groupon deal which included afternoon tea & breakfast as part of the deal. Upon arriving at the hotel, there was a nice welcome & we were shown to our room. The room was really nicely decorated & overlooked the courtyard. We then headed straight down to sample the afternoon... More

Stayed overnight as part of attending a dinner with a large group of friends. The dinner was considering the numbers and the price charged fair however the hotel itself isn’t. The downstairs bar area gent’s loo is disgraceful as was the cooked breakfast. The superior room booked just wasn’t and even came with a damaged, dirty and broken loo seat... More

I stayed here as a solo traveller on a business trip. Was warmly greeted upon arrival and help was given with my suitcase up the stairs. The room was lovely. Tea/coffee and, yes, the shortbread biscuit which was delicious! The bathroom had a spacious bath with a great shower above it. My room was at the front and it had... More

We chose this hotel to meet up with friends, taking advantage of their d,b and b offer. Our room (St. Albans) was clean, spacious and well appointed, with a large bathroom with jacuzzi and jet shower. There was a comfy four poster bed, a large wardrobe and tea/coffee making facilities as well as an iron and ironing board. We were... More
