We stayed in a family room for two nights - one of the biggest family rooms ever. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food amazing, really all the meals were cooked fresh. Will certainly be returning.

A warm welcome, and an extensive menu more than satisfied the 7 of us who discovered the Malthouse half way round a cold and bracing walk. We left well satisfied by excellent food, generous portions and kind attention. Will definitely visit again.

all 7 of us had a delicious meal here in early December 2011. Haven't stayed but would definitely consider doing so based on the food quality.

I would highly recommend this hotel and if ever we are in the area again we will definitely stay there (if we can get booked in as they do get very busy).
