We had a wonderful weekend away here so we could take part in the forest of Dean half marathon. Excellent service, nice open house and clean rooms with everything you could ask for. Breakfast was first class. Couldn't recommend it any higher.

I stayed here for a night whilst attending a wedding nearby at Clearwell castle. I could not have chosen a better place, Chris even booked at taxi for me!! These people are serious about there job & I assure you, you`ll not regret staying here, faultless.

The owners made us immensely welcome and were most hospitable. Very relaxed atmosphere. Very good breakfasts. Unfortunately the place is in need of a comprehensive makeover. Beds, pillows, bed linen, carpets, loo seats, wobbly stair bannisters, decorations generally, all need to be upgraded. Then it will be worth returning
