I stayed at this hotel for Valentines Day with my partner. I had high expertation for this hotel and the quality. I found the hotel was average and nothing stood out. The bathroom was small and slightly on the dirty side. The pros of the hotel is the amazing breakfast they made, however I was told the breakfast would finish... More

Selected this hotel as we were looking for somewhere we could get into London easily without paying central London hotel prices. Hotel is a hundred yards off j26 pf the M25. Immediate area is not exactly picturesque but there is some nice countryside and small villages quite close. Epping which has a small but nice high street is only 15... More

The room was a good size comfortable & clean. It was also nice & quiet, so we had a very restful nights sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent with both hot & cold English & continental breakfast. Lovely stay. More

Just stayed 1 night for the bed (literally!) arriving at 23:00 and leaving at 09:00. A comfortable bed and room with good quality amentities and friendly staff. My one criticism (and this is one common to a lot of hotels) is the noisy door closing on the bedroom doors. They are sprung so heavily and the latch neeis very noisy... More

I use the gym and pool regularly. New manager Deren has made great improvements and should be commended for sorting things out which had slipped by the wayside over the years. There is a nice buzz in the hotel seated area and snack food and Costa coffee can be bought - at a BIG price mind you. More

We just stayed at this Marriott. We had a lovely stay, all the staff were fantastic. It was my wifes birthday and after we checked in and got to our room (243) there was a knock on the door after about 5 minutes and the woman from reception had a card and a small box of chocolates for her as... Been going to this hotel for 12 years with a group of 40-50 Year 6 (10/11 year old) children - if it wasn't that good, we wouldn't keep going back! The location is perfect for an out-of-city base for our annual visits - I should add we've stayed here as a family as well! The building's shape and organisation makes... More

This Marriott is a low rise (2 story) property which , amazingly, does not have an elevator/lift to the second floor. It's located a few miles from Stanstead, London's third airport after Heathrow and Gatwick. It's just off the M-25 motorway that circles London, at about 1 o'clock on the circle. Apart from the peculiar absence of a lift, it's... More
