enjoyed a 3 night break here earlier this month-a large homely house with big warm clean comfy bedroom,delicious vegetarian breakfast ,stunning views of the river stour and a friendly breakfast companion ie. Sheema the dog, I enjoyed some local walks,visited Colchester and Walton. Penny made me very welcome and she might see me again next year.

We stayed at Emsworth House and must say this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in! Penny made us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was wonderful, the rooms spotless and very comfortable. The view of the estuary was magnificent. I would recommend this.

Our stay at Emsworth House was superb. Penny is an attentive, friendly hostess in a house full of beautiful art and an expansive garden with a view over the river that compliments an already hearty breakfast experience. We stayed at Emswoth House with three coples and a single for one week. Penny was very pleasant and helpful. She offers comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast, every time an open ear, a nice garden and a fantastic view over the River Stour. Thanks for this great holieday!
