Taxi pick up service refused to drop us off first so our 10 minute journey became over 45 mins as we had to drive around dropping others at hotels further from the airport. On arrival receptionist was rude, and barmaid (bar manager?) was obnoxiously drunk! Room had broken curtains (we were on ground floor), a dirty bathroom and hair in... More

We made our way to the hotel using our sat nav to the address listed above and as usual the sat nav failed so we phoned reception. When we eventually arrived (after speaking on the phone to the receptionist) he wanted to charge us for 'transport' and mumbled something about our car keys. After repeating ourselves 3 times that we... More

The hotel is located near the Stansted airport and provides pick up service that was very important for me because of early morning departure. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was big and clean with comfortable bed and tea and coffee facilities. I was completely satisfied with everything and could recommend this hotel to everyone.

Bed full of hair, under sheets covered in stains and hair, room smelling of backed drains and cigarettes, a partially broken toilet flush, dust everywhere, dust sticking to the walls in clumps, bins un-emptied, curry on dresser table, a trouser press broken, stains on the floor, stains on the roof, constant mechanical banging, unacceptable levels of traffic noise, waiting for... Reading all this reviews I just have to share my experience about this hotel because people have to know where they gonna end up! We chose this hotel because it's very close to the airport. When we checked in, someone told us that breakfast was from 5 until 11! So, at 9.40, we went downstairs but all the tables looked... More

I stayed at the Stansted Skyline on November 4th 2011 with my tour group. I booked it knowing it would be a budget hotel but as we were arriving late and leaving early the next morning I figured the cheaper the better as long as it was adequate. I was, sadly, let down and now realise (once again) that I... More
