The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. The staff were friendly and efficient and made us feel welcome. The restaurant was good and was excellent value for money. The next time I visit Braintree I will stay here as we had the best nights sleep in a hotel for a while. More

We stayed here for 1 night on 2nd December to attend a friend's wedding. The staff were very welcoming and the service was first class. The Room, including bathroom, was very clean and comfortable. The Premier breakfast in the adjoining Brewers Fayre was excellent and once again the staff were very helpful. We can highly recommend. More

Clean warm room and bathroom. Childs bed already made up prior to arrival which was appreciated, Found staff very helpful. All in all, a good basic comfortable affordable place to stay. Freeview TV is also a plus. More
