This was our third trip to The Cloudesley and it was every bit as blissful as the other two. Decor is original and stunning; breakfasts delicious and inventive; sleep deep and untroubled. We will be back again!!

This hotel is delightful. Calm, beautifully decorated rooms furnished with books, photos and paintings as well as furniture - no 'hotel chain look'. Shahriar's attention to detail was there throughout our stay. Breakfast was wonderful - we were served fresh and beautifully prepared fruit and superb omelettes with fig, goats cheese, bacon and mushrooms with cognac. Lots of coffee/tea and fruit... More

Our two night stay at The Cloudesley was just perfect. Shahriar has made this boutique guest house a beautiful 'home from home' and , in our opinion he offers one of the best places to stay in the area. The decor is unique, carefully considered and extremely inviting. The atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful and energizing. Our room was perfect -... More

What a great boutique B and B. A very attentive and entertaining owner and the decor reflects his many interests. Lovely room with superb bed. Breakfast is an experience of it's own - a selection of fresh fruits way above your 5 a day! and whilst full english breakfast is available we would recommend trying the innovative omelets. We only... More

Shahriar is an entertaining and generous host.He gave me a lovely room, great attention to details in the decor. Breakast delicious with new taste sensations in an omelet. His photographs are fantastic and he has great selection of reading material, tv completely unnecessary. I will be back to see him realise his interesting garden plans.

The owner couldn't do enough for us and provided a lovely room with a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to others. We didn't try any of the treatments - maybe next time!

My wife and I spent a night in Room9 and couldnt fault a thing. Shahriar the host was attentive and an excellent host. The room was large and comfortable with a huge bed. The place itself is very stylish and all the common areas clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast choice was comprehensive with lots of organic foods making it... More
