We stayed last week in this dump and I can't believe I made it through the night... Ugh! The carpet is disgusting, the wall and the bathroom need much more cleaning. I have been there twice. Once, with my wife, when the new management had just taken over, and last weekend (about a month later) with friends. We found it very welcoming, with good pub food. The managers have done a lot of work improving the place. Both times we had a pleasant stay, and will definitely be going back.

Hotel room small, electric sockets hanging off wall, kettle lead would not reach plug so had to stand it on the floor. Unknown tea and coffee makes which tasted awful.
