My girlfriend and I had the following opinions of the Brambletye Hotel: She thought it was very clean and found the staff helpful and friendly, but had a bit of an issue with the decor in the room. I was less concerned about the carpet design but could have done with firmer pillows - their lack of substance seriously affected... More

We stayed at the Brambletye for 3 nights as it was convenient for family commitments in the area. Our room was excellent and spacious - with a separate and newly refurbished bathroom. We had an evening meal at the hotel but were not so keen on the food either then or at breakfast so ate elsewhere on the other evenings.... More

Lovely situation close to Ashdown Forest. We went for a de-luxe room which was large and very well appointed with a comfy bed, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities with decent biscuits. We spent 3 nights at the hotel and were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel, village and beautiful surrounding countryside. The hotel has a "locals" pub which serves good beer and reasonbly priced bar food. An OK experience and excellent value for money. Beer in the bar was great. One drawback was the noisy geese at the back of the hotel (not the hotel's fault) but woken early each day. Smallish hotel with bar and restaurant. We had a de-luxe room (top floor at the front) which was spacious, newly refitted with large, comfortable bed, excellent shower, separate bath, large plasma TV and bay window overlooking the main road in front of the hotel. Hi, our stay of two nights in the recently refurbished Brambletye Hotel was very enjoyable. Clean, friendly, good food, quiet at night, happy. Our toddler daughter loved the slide and climbing frame in the safe smart playground, outdoor seating area.
