What a lovely entrance area and bar this small friendly Hotel has. Friendly staff welcomed us to our really comfortable and clean room - plenty of room to spread out the children's toys! Before dinner we had a drink in the bar. Both the bar and restaurant have a modern but cosy feel with some lovely comfy sofas to sink... More

My girlfriend and I had the following opinions of the Brambletye Hotel: She thought it was very clean and found the staff helpful and friendly, but had a bit of an issue with the decor in the room. I was less concerned about the carpet design but could have done with firmer pillows - their lack of substance seriously affected... More

Thank you for your review, I am sorry that you did not have a good nights sleep. Our beds and pillows are from Mattison & Co a large well established hotel bed supplier and were only purchased last year (2011) We always keep spares and housekeeping would have been more than happy to issue new ones. I am also sorry... More

We stayed at the Brambletye for 3 nights as it was convenient for family commitments in the area. Our room was excellent and spacious - with a separate and newly refurbished bathroom. We had an evening meal at the hotel but were not so keen on the food either then or at breakfast so ate elsewhere on the other evenings.... More

Room smelt a little and there was a constant buzzing noise all night- other than that it was pretty standard really! More

Lovely situation close to Ashdown Forest. We went for a de-luxe room which was large and very well appointed with a comfy bed, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities with decent biscuits. Excellent en-suite bathroom, very modern, with bath, powerful shower, nice toiletries, and luxurious fluffy white towels which really did the job well. Superb value for money and staff... More

We spent 3 nights at the hotel and were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel, village and beautiful surrounding countryside. The hotel has a "locals" pub which serves good beer and reasonbly priced bar food. On 2 of the 3 nights there were live music events (Irish music/Jazz) which certainly added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The... More

An OK experience and excellent value for money. Beer in the bar was great. One drawback was the noisy geese at the back of the hotel (not the hotel's fault) but woken early each day. One of our (male) party was also woken at 2.35 a.m. by another guest climbing in through his window on his way to a different... More

Thank you for your review. I have bee informed of the circumstances of the event in question. From what I gather another guest left their key at reception before going out, instead of contacting the night manager decided to climb up a drainpipe and enter an open window. This is not something you can envisage a guest doing. Rest assured... More

Smallish hotel with bar and restaurant. We had a de-luxe room (top floor at the front) which was spacious, newly refitted with large, comfortable bed, excellent shower, separate bath, large plasma TV and bay window overlooking the main road in front of the hotel. Breakfast and evening meal not outstanding but perfectly OK, and good real ale (Harvey's Sussex Bitter)... More

Hi, our stay of two nights in the recently refurbished Brambletye Hotel was very enjoyable. Clean, friendly, good food, quiet at night, happy. Our toddler daughter loved the slide and climbing frame in the safe smart playground, outdoor seating area. The staff were very helpful, all seemed happy, and Brett on night one was falling over himself to help us... More
