I have stayed in several local b and bs for work and this is undoubtedly the best in the area. Arden House can't be faulted; impeccably clean and comfortable, modern rooms and showers, wonderful breakfast. Peter goes our of his way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

We enjoyed an excellent stay - comfortable accommodation, super breakfasts, lots of games and DVDs for a raining afternoon. Peter also provided sound advice for evening meals, all within easy walking distance in the town centre. We'd certainly stay again when next in the area.

This is the best B&B I have stayed in. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, Peter is an excellent host and his breakfast menu is extensive and the best tasting there is. My partner and I just stayed for the third time and hope to return again. Excellent value also. Highly recommended.
