We enjoyed our stay in one of the refurbished lighthouse rooms - well appointed, comfortable and up to date. The lighthouse rooms surround a pleasant garden at the back of the hotel, with service from the bar. The hotel itself is very nice,although certain areas are looking tired and could do with a lick of paint. Reception staff brilliant and deserve a special mention, however rest of staff very hit and miss...some ok some almost untrained.
