My wife and I had a wonderful room with a fantastic view. The owners were two of the nicest people we have met and they have a singing dog. Immaculate throughtout with such lovely objects everywhere. Barbara and Gemma run this place with love and affection. My wife and I will return. They took the house and spent years of renovation to turn it into a vision of beauty.

The pics really don't do this place justice! Barbara and Gemma and two of the most loveliest and warm people you will ever meet. Their home is welcoming and absolutely spotless. The breakfast is out of this world! Between myself and two colleagues we tried every brekky on the menu from the fantastic Bircher Muesli, to the succulent British fry up (veggie and non veggie, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, continental breakfast....all were amazing. Served with pots of your preferred beverage and in the most welcoming and beautiful atmosphere. I will be bringing my son and my parents, with their doggy here.... Almost reluctant to tell everyone how wonderful it is in case it gets booked up too often!! The most quirkiest British B and B..,,more Savoy that Fawlty Towers!! Thank you for making my artistic residency at Snape the best it could possibly be, I will never forget you guys!!…

Barbara and Gemma run this charming bed and breakfast with a celebrity twist. The Bircher muesli for breakfast is a must to set you up for the day. It is within 10 minutes walk from The Maltings with lovely shops and a great restaurant.

A terrific B&B run by two hospitable and lovely ladies. We had the front upstairs room with balcony overlooking the main road - personally found the sound of passing traffic at night quite restful - did not spoil my sleep. Comfortable bed, delightful room. Plenty of breakfast choices, local produce beautifully cooked and presented - could have eaten the Bircher Muesli all day long - wonderful. Would have liked to have stayed longer and will definitely visit again.

We had never been to Snape (Maltings), or the Aldeburgh Festival, so this B&B was our top choice - in walking distance to Snape Maltings, so an easy 10 minutes walk to the concerts was great. We can recommend the quality and quantity of the Bircher muesli and the veggie sausages, and the relaxed attitude of the B&B owners (they don't mind you returning after a long walk, or between festival concerts to re-charge your batteries!). It was nice to be greeted with a cup of tea and some chocolate sweeties. We stayed in the 'balcony room', which faces the main road in Snape, and for those who are looking for absolutely tranquility, this is not ideal: even with closed windows the passing traffic can be easily heard (we guess it depends where you normally live: if you are used to city noises, this is probably blissfully quiet). The bed was fine (even though at home we have a much firmer mattress). If you travel by car: there is a car park behind the village hall with 2 designated car park spaces. There is a local village shop about 1-2 minutes away - very useful for restocking on essentials.…

What a great place to stay. Its like being at home. Everything you could need and more in the bedroom. Our room was very large with a huge bathroom and plenty of hot water. The bed was really comfy. Lovely breakfast. Just perfect.

We only stayed one night at Albion B&B but it was very comfortable, well-equipped and felt like home from home. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Thank you!

Room Tip:Stairs to the attic room are quite steep. It wasn't a problem for us but worth keeping in mind.

While not reviewing the Albion B&B itself we have just had a perfect week in Barbara and Gemma's holiday cottage to the rear of the house. The cottage and its amenities are first class and nothing has been spared to make this a luxury holiday let. The outlook from the garden or the breakfast table is of open fields and peace and quiet reigns. Footpaths start almost from the door and if eating out is preferable to using the modern and well equipped kitchen then we can recommend the food at the Crown, just a couple of hundred yards away. Coupled with very friendly and interesting hosts this cottage is one in a million.

Just the one night for bed and breakfast in the Attic room at the top of Albion House. We could easily have stayed for more but our cycle trip did not let us. A real shame as our hosts, accomodation and location were perfect. Having said that the Attic room is in the converted attic of the house so maybe not to everyone's taste as the stairs to the room are a bit steep, as you would expect. There are twin beds in the room and a handy rail to hand clothes as well as a side table and draws as well as a tv and tea / coffee making facilities. There were all sorts of teas, coffees, drinks and beverages avaialble so you could stay there for ever. A nice touch was the kit kats as we had cycled 65 miles that day and chocolate always goes down well after that effort. There is a shower room and a separate toilet on the floor below so not too far to get clean and refresh. The Albion is cycle friendly and we secured our cycles out of reach and sight of the main road. A big plus. Indeed cycling guests are a common feature of the Albion as it is in excelllent cycle country. A short walk from two pubs which were pretty busy but both did food. We ate in one which was pretty good. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. Loads of food, a full locally sourced, cooked breakfast with every jam / spread you could think of. Plenty of toast, teas and coffee and great conversation with very, very, helpful pleasent and cheefuls hosts. All in all a great find and somewhere to head straight back to whenever visiting the area. A reall gem. Thank you.…
