We have stayed in the ship a number of times and continue to be impressed, the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. We love coming back from a long walk to a welcoming fire (yes it was May!) good local food and good beer.

Could not fault The Ship Inn. Excellent self contained annex for dog lovers. Food was very good & reasonably priced. Lovely old bar with fire, good ales & friendly welcoming staff.
